Anyway though yes, you did a very nice job and I'm sure your boyfriend (heehee ^.^) can only be thrilled with him. I love the little headphones, too, a perfect touch!
And yes, I had to bake him in the oven, but it was a fairly low temperature and only for about 20 minutes! The pony got a little soft, but hardened back up after cooling off. I figured I could always use the back up boil method if the pony melted, but luckily I didn't need to!
It was quite a surprise to my boyfriend that I made it, and he was thrilled with how it turned out.
Hopefully I'll be able to finish all the projects I've started so I can post more things on here!
The muzzle was actually easier than I thought! Just have to be patient and keep smoothing the clay with your fingers so it blends into the rest of the head. For never attempting it before I was super happy with how it came out.
