A gift for my awesome boyfriend :iconxyrotr1: <3

Was made from a brushable Blossomforth. Molded a more colt-ish nose, mane and tail with Sculpey. Painted with acrylics and sealed with Mr. Super Clear (my absolute favorite sealant :la: ).

First time I've ever sculpted hair on a pony, so I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! :D

Ahh dearest, this is lovely! It's such a nice surprise to see some new custom ponies from you, and I do believe this is the first time I've seen you do one with sculpted hair! It really came out very well, but if you made it with Sculpey does that mean you had to bake him in the oven, too? I'm surprised the original little toy underneath could survive such conditions intact!

Anyway though yes, you did a very nice job and I'm sure your boyfriend (heehee ^.^) can only be thrilled with him. I love the little headphones, too, a perfect touch!

Thank you!

And yes, I had to bake him in the oven, but it was a fairly low temperature and only for about 20 minutes! The pony got a little soft, but hardened back up after cooling off. I figured I could always use the back up boil method if the pony melted, but luckily I didn't need to!

It was quite a surprise to my boyfriend that I made it, and he was thrilled with how it turned out. :D I'm working on a sculpted version of my OC for him, so both ponies can hang out on his desk together. ^_^

That's good to hear about the baking... I think I would have been a little scared to try that myself but as I said, he turned out wonderfully! And awwww, I am looking forward to seeing that; I'm sure they will be adorable together! :flirty:

I was very scared! Luckily all went well! :la:

Hopefully I'll be able to finish all the projects I've started so I can post more things on here! :work:

Nice job turning a mare into a stallion, and the mane and tail turned out fine as well. Was it difficult to get the muzzle to look right?

Thanks! :D

The muzzle was actually easier than I thought! Just have to be patient and keep smoothing the clay with your fingers so it blends into the rest of the head. For never attempting it before I was super happy with how it came out.

Nicely done! I think the hair came out well, and he makes for a cute pony without a doubt.
