This happened randomly during a moment of weakness. I was just about to reinstall WoW out of sheer boredom, when I spilled my water on one of the discs. I thought it looked pretty neat, so I busted out the macro filter I've been playing around with, arranged some construction paper behind it for extra color and voila!

Wow, talk about making the best out of a bad situation! This look amazing! Pretty rainbow-y, watery goodness. I really like the shade of blue the background is.

The colors in this are just marvelous, and the construction paper was the perfect extra touch. This is the sort of photograph I wish I could take.

Oh, gorgeous photo dear! I have always loved macro photography, and this is just so pretty... I love the way that one little row of drops stands out so crisply from the rest of the image! Beautiful colors as well; the construction paper was a really good idea and I doubt I ever would have thought about doing that, but then as I've told you I really am a hopeless photographer.

Thank you for stopping by! I've always loved macro pictures, so I was happy the $12 filters I bought could take some decent pictures! (One day I'll have to shell out the $1300 for an actual macro lens, though. Ouch!)

Oh my, and I thought good-quality paints were expensive! ^^; But yes, it's a lovely image and much better than I could ever capture, expensive lens or no. You're very welcome dear!

I supposed that's why the term "starving artist" fits so well! Art supplies of all genres can be quite pricey!

Wow, that really is a great image... I love the look that the macro filter gives the image, with the soft focus fading into the crystal clear drops along the center. It works great as both an abstract and then adds more interest as you make out what you're actually looking at. Really beautiful indeed, and from such an everyday moment. :-)
